Newton Abbot Carnival 1992

It was July so of course it was an overcast and dull day - but that did not stop the carnival parade! Many years ago these were well supported and substantial events - not so much now. Some of these photographs are pretty poor but I have included them if only for historic interest, especially in relation to the shops and streetscapes that have changed over the years and may well bring back memories. You may even recognise someone in the crowds!.
