Making Way for Asda 2005

Demolition of Newton Abbot GPO and other buildings to make way for Asda supermarket. The houses in Clarendon Road somehow survived the bulldozers. Even keen Newtonians of long standing may have difficulty spotting where some of the photos were taken. I particularly like the car wash in a pool of rubble....
