Newton Abbot Festival of Transport 2000

This was meant to be the first of a number of regular transport festivals but this, alas, turned out to be the only one. Given the strong links between Newton Abbot and transport - especially the railway and jet engines - it is a shame that it did not continue. One of the big events was the temporary reopening of the branch line to Heathfield, and I am pleased to say that I managed to get a place on that particular train.
